Get anything done over the weekend?

 

Son went out and bought Fresh Gas for the Mower..AND..mowed the yard..

 

Been trying to get this little box done...

Even worked on feet for it..

So..at least I got something done...

 

Any clue as to what this week will bring?

 Looks like every other day rain here. 

 

Still cutting 1/2"BB for those quarter quarter quarter shop boxes.  If I can finish that job today...highly unlikely...  then I'll try to get that live edge mesquite bench ready for another flood coat of resin. I've never had this many problems with this process. But, there are a few spots that just stubbornly refuse to cooperate. 

One of these days, before I'm too old, I'll get my ADD under control and stick with one project through completion before starting something else. I haven't yet figgered out what too old is but, methinks I'm getting close.

Preparing for relatives...

Just back from a 3 day trip to NY for an astronomy imaging conference (NEAIC) I go to each year. Headed for the oral surgeon this morning to get a few sockets set........

Feet on the box have been leveled..about ready for finish...

 

On-going shop clean-up...amazing what all is underneath some of the junk...

Yet another trip to the Doc this morning for Marie's back. He's talked her into another surgery early next month. Screwed around on my lathe this past weekend still trying to learn turning skills. I did get to dump 5.986 live minnows into the pod over the weekend. I had bought 6000, but 24 of them didn't make the trip on the way back from the hatchery. I'm still trying to figure out how they counted that many minnows in the 15 minutes or so that it took to get them ready for me.

 Problem is, I don't know WTH it is  but I'm pretty sure I can figure out something to do with it 

So... it gets moved to that "New" pile of junk, so I'll have it when/if I ever figure out WTH it is   and come up with a use for it.

Hoping to get some good news on the Mrs. Jeep today. Went to pick it up Friday evening and it still had issues after they installed the new alternator and battery. Apparently couldn't get any communication with the PCM; either its fried or perhaps a short elsewhere which may have caused the initial failures.

 

Once the frost is fully gone today and warms a bit, I'll be mowing, mowing, mowing ahead of the rain tomorrow following by mowing, mowing, mowing Wednesday after the frost clears ahead of the rain forecast for the weekend. Seems to be a weather pattern evolving

 

Any other activities TBD.

 

EDIT UPDATE: Shop just called...bad PCM...it'll take 3 business days to get a REMAN Dorman, but it's a plug and play; comes flashed with all files by VIN # and does carry a Lifetime Warranty.

That'll be awesome to have another mower and operator on-site. I'll furnish the gas if you don't mind picking up a dozen donuts on the way. Feel free to get some donuts for yourself too.

Taking wife to doctor this afternoon and then some piddling, probably turning  , in the shop. But I and like that squirrel and you never know what I can get into.

I started the week with a trip to the dentist, have to go back tomorrow.

After the weekend rain event I'll be mowing the lawn this afternoon.

Cleared out some space behind the Mitersaw Station..NOW I can USE it, again...saws laying there?

Will be placed back into the Saw Til...

made some red sticks for the pistol range.

Not trying to show my ignorance, but I will anyway...what is the purpose of those sticks?
