If a person can make 3 at a time with a lot less labor than one at a time, why not?.

 

Well at least I have the hardest part done.

 

I have to figure out later how to mount them

 

Just take a picture of some leaves on the computer, print them out, enlarge some, reduce size on some, glue em on and get after it.

 

 

Oh I did have to make some wood thinner for these and next it will be Dremels turn to shape the front and the back..

Dave, this is just an experiment and I don't even know what I will do with these leaves but had a brain storm in the bed and now have to figure out why I had my mind on leaves???

  I was actually making back scratchers the day or two when my mind went hay wire, but this happens often. So now I am curious

Well you've peaked my curiosity too Patch. I think it is just a cool and quite creative idea as well as symbolic...making wood leaves. Put magnets on the back; sell them for refrigerator magnets or ???. So many possibilities. I can't wait to see where this idea takes your mind.

Lew,  I didn't know you have a scroll saw. Have you worn it out by just sitting there in the corner behind the lathe.

@Smallpatch Actually it’s under the Dewalt 735. A very basic Taiwanese I’ve had for years.
