If you are using Aspire there is a feature to create a vector boundary around a model. That vector can be used with the profile toolpath. If you need 3D bridges you have to add them to the model then limit where the 3D toolpath goes to not cut past where you put the 3D bridges. The type of work I've done has rarely included importing and cutting out 3D models, but those are the basics.
