January 21, 20242 yr Popular Post comment_328391 I converted to all square drive some years ago, and threw out every slotted screw I could find (except for electrical switchplates). But that conversion was made when McFeely's was still McFeeley's and I could get almost anything I wanted in a good quality square drive. Since Grainger bought McFeely's out I find that harder to do...it seems Grainger is partial to those infernal combo things that are as useless as the NFL, and so a lot of their screws have that drive type.
