Marie leaves the house for the first time in 5 weeks+ today since her back surgery. She has a doctor appt. today and another tomorrow. So I have that to tend to and may try to resume some of the winter yard prep stuff i do every year. Other wise, Happy Indigenous day to you all today...seems like there's something else  today but it slips my mind at the moment.:P

Ya, some Spanish dude, or is he Portuguese?

Out early to Boilertown this AM. Currently sitting in the waiting room at the Surgical Center. Mrs. undergoing a minor procedure today. From the "scoreboard" looks like she's about 1/2 way through overall process. Remainder of the day will be guarding her at home.

Rest of week TBD. Rain in the forecast several times this week. Hope to get some more outside winter prep done. Plan to meet my "kid" brother for lunch one day this week. He turns 67 tomorrow.

How about lunes nueve de octubre. Phyl says it's Columbus day, too. He was from Portugal but, sailed to the Americas under a Spanish flag IIRC.

Thankful to hear Marie is doing well.

Monday?

:ChinScratch: Since I'm retired anyway, I think I'll take the day off. :P

Got a bit done over weekend. Got 5 Christmas ornaments finished and stands for them. Got the crooked fence posts moderately straight and drilled holes at tops to add extension so they will be tall enough to deter deer. Took all those down to son's storage building. Hope to get back to turning today.

Back home a few minutes ago. All went well. Initial prognosis sounds good but won't know for sure for a week or so. Mrs. is already sleeping. Being the supportive husband I am, I should nap for a bit too.

:ChinScratch: Now that sounds like a plan. :GoodNight:

Had a nap.  Found a pickup that might be worth picking up. 100 miles away though and I'm hoping they'll deliver it.  Tried to install Premier 14 which I bought via Amazon and failed to find the serial number that should have been provided.    Figured I'd just use windows Video application but they didn't include it in Windows 11 and want me to use their web based editor which requires an account and a password and a web connection other than a phone shared connection which crawls.  Spent time creating a new blog post about the steps needed and a few tricks to making a rabbet/dado corner joint using a router table.   Not quite done though, as I need to edit and reduce resolution of the videos I took demonstrating it.  Might have to see if I can get my previous PC working again. Maybe swap it's hard drive into my new one.   Pretty sure it was the hard drive failing that killed it though. :(

Most problems can be solved with a good nap!

I agree 100%.  Most of the ingenious solutions I come up with are the by product of a good nap.

If that's the case,  all my problems should have been solved years ago.

I usually wake up about 3:00 AM with the answer to the problem I'm working on. Have to get up then or I'll forget what the heck I just came up with. :Tapping:

Not when you've got an encyclopedia of problems all going on at the same time. <_<

Yard Sale Season seems to have come to an end, around here.....38 clear and SUNNY degrees outside, this morning...about 20 degrees too cold, for me.....:ArguingSmileys:

:ChinScratch: A bit cool out there, but I might do a little work at the picnic table workbench today.
