Popular Post RustyFN Posted September 27, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted September 27, 2023 My wife wanted a pumpkin to hold large mason jar style candles. I turned this for her out of a piece of walnut. She was going to paint it but said she likes it better without paint. Headhunter, Grandpadave52, Cal and 5 others 7 1 Quote

I made an indexing wheel for my lathe. I set it up for 20 lines. After they were marked I cut them with an angle grinder and 40 grit flapper wheel. 46 minutes ago, HandyDan said: I like it. Gerald Posted September 28, 2023 Report Posted September 28, 2023 Yep no paint on walnut it would be sacrilege. You might want to look into creating a router jig for the cuts . It is much easier to control. Don't think I could do it with a grinder. Grandpadave52 1 Quote

I purposely made them a little off with extra marks here and there. Grandpadave52, Gerald, Artie and 1 other 4 Quote
