Friday again folks! 

 

Here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" I'm reconstituting from being a "Hair Pile of Melted Itt!" after the past two days of heat indices in the 113-118° range. 

Today I may get started on the "Victrola Style Komputator" case build. Still rolling those "Mental Images" around in my "One Celled SketchUp" mind.

I'll post about that and the Larkin desk rebuild a bit later today.

 

With that being said I'll ask,

 

What's on Your Weekend Agenda? 

Busy morning putting some parts on few cars.  Now to do alignments on them.

 

Drag out the laser and label the little Friendship Bowls.

Shop time today. Sashimi and Sushi tomorrow with our son and our 5 year old granddaughter. Since we'll be close and we'll have already changed work clothes for good clothes, we might do some Walmart shopping. Dress codes ya know.

Sunday, we'll be back to work. Phyl with her needles and me with my saws. Sister's Christmas gift is almost done with the cutting. Then comes sanding and finishing.

 

Going to be humid a few days..  Guess I'll stay in the shop and enjoy the AC.

Continuing on with the door project. Probably some pool time.

Trying to get some of the excess wood in the shop turned into something besides a floor ornament.

Errands today and last minute to dos with granddaughter before she leaves for campus tomorrow. Hopefully forecasted cool-down allows mowing over the weekend. With all the fog, heat and humidity, grass is growing like springtime.

 

Resume work on the smaller front mount mower. Pushrods and adjusting screws were changed out, valve lash set; all looks good so far. Just a matter of putting everything else back together now. Many, many other projects to prioritize as Labor Day weekend is only a week away.

 

Church services Sunday.

Labor Day. Hey at this job I actually get the day off AND paid. No losing day off during week as substitute.  Who knew?

Four letter words like "work" have been erased from my vocabulary. Replaced with another one. "Play". If it ain't fun, it ain't worth doing....IMHO.

I didnt see any "Do Not Shoot" sign...where did you say it was?
