Popular Post forty_caliber Posted July 7, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted July 7, 2023 (edited) 8" Pyinma Catch All. Pyinma wood comes from Southeast Asia and is also known as asian satinwood. This blank was purchased via Cook Woods. More particulars about the wood here. Machines exceptionally well. Little to no tearout, but tends to fuzz up. Power sanded with 80 grit, then hand sanded through 400. Finished with walnut oil as a sanding sealer, Acks, and Odies. Noticeable quilted grain with chatoyance present on all surfaces. .40 Edited July 7, 2023 by forty_caliber Headhunter, DuckSoup, Cal and 4 others 5 1 1 Quote
