July 7, 20233 yr Popular Post comment_317162 8" Pyinma Catch All. Pyinma wood comes from Southeast Asia and is also known as asian satinwood. This blank was purchased via Cook Woods. More particulars about the wood here. Machines exceptionally well. Little to no tearout, but tends to fuzz up. Power sanded with 80 grit, then hand sanded through 400.
