18th century bags

The contemporary longrifle association contracted my buddy Bill to do 5 of his double beaver tail bags for the auction at their annual show. He is in the process of finishing up #5. Everything is done on the 4 grouped together but the strap. Buckles are hand forged...inside is lined with deer leather. The main construction of the bag is cross stitched, all sewing is by hand. I've made 1 under his tutelage years ago and it kills my hands, no thanks I'll stick to horns. I may would play with smaller projects but there is a ton of work in one of these bags. They feel in hand even better than they look. Straight quality and straight outa the 18th century.

How much will they sell for?

He makes several different patterns. Depending on the bag I think they run in the $225 to $250 range. I'm not sure specifically about the style posted.
