January 29, 20233 yr Author comment_307490 I glued it up last night. The nesting idea worked well. Glue up was quick and simple. The nice part was that it was all done with the onboard CAD tools so no computer required. Paul Report

January 31, 20233 yr Author comment_307632 I have three coats of the ceramic finish on at this point. I think I’m going to keep adding coats for a few days and see what happens. Paul Report
January 31, 20233 yr Author Popular Post comment_307637 John Morris posted an article a few weeks ago regarding a new finish coming out of Japan. It is a ceramic finish much like what they put on cars but formulated for wood. I ordered a sample bottle to see what it’s all about. It is supposed to be a waterproof finish. It wipes on and dries in 20 min so you can get multiple coats on in a day. It is alcohol thin and goes a long ways. So far I really like it. Paul Report
