John Morris Posted December 29, 2022 Report Posted December 29, 2022 View File Workbench Magazine March-April 1968 Primitive Carving This is a scanned document of the now defunct Workbench Magazine of this era. Permission was granted by the new Workbench Publication for The Patriot Woodworker community to copy and use the old Workbench Magazine at our pleasure, and for free distribution and re-use. Quote Primitive carving does not necessarily mean a poorly done wood carving, but is a form of self expression by untutored carvers both in civilized and primitive peoples. This type of carving usually has a charm of its own due to the simplicity of details and the caricature of the subject.
