Not sure how jump in here, but fact biologically there are TWO sexes. As a father of a female college athlete I am concerned with males competing in females sports both at the high school and college level. As an RN/RCIS who travels and trains staff on cardiovascular equipment for cath and electrophysiology labs this “identifying” is effecting patient care. For example I was in So. Dakota and a patient was very insistent on being labeled a female. They were having a aortic valve issues. Now a lot of the cardiovascular calculations are based off of gender. So we did the calculations for both genders. If we used the female they would have gone for major surgery only to find out it was not needed. Also, when I worked in surgery a ‘shim’ had been having urinary issues. Never told the doctor they had gender change surgery. So after a year of different therapies and meds it was decided to do a cyctostoscope. Got in there and she was a he and the prostate was huge! So there are real consequences to this 

On a side note the doc doing the scope is not my favorite and rumor had it he went ballistic lol

I was hoping Marsha would have countered with “Are you a woman?”

 

even in ancient times, Eunuchs were still considered men, just missing some parts, but men.  and many had very important roles, such as the one in Acts 8, who was the Treasurer of Queen Candace of Ethiopia.  pretty important job, but he was still a man.
