He puts walnut oil on walnut, let’s it dry and then puts a poly over that. He said it is a big difference from the one without walnut oil. This is my walnut bowl I turned today. It has danish oil on it. I will let it dry and put on the poly. Report

June 2, 20224 yr Author comment_292082 Change of plans. I just remembered that I used some homemade abrasive paste which has mineral oil and beeswax and can’t put a finish over that. I have a small hard maple bowl I just turned that I will try it on. Report
