Think it is 4/4 may be a table top but that is not certain and not in the immediate future.

What Cal said John!

A friend of mine gave me a piece of this wood a couple of days ago 5 x 24 by 1/4 thick. I've tried to make some scroll saw designs in it and, ugh.

It's real " grabby" on the scroll saw, to the point of breaking small details. The board has a split in it about 3 inches in, so I'm pretty limited in what I can do with it; but I will find something.
