It is Monday, and it looks to be a real nice one here

I reckon my biggest "got done" over the weekend was picking up this keyboard so's I can post up.  It was a tough couple weeks not being able to do anything other than respond with an emoji, or a cut and paste that I could do with the mouse

 

Some few days ago I did finish up the headboard for my brother.  It is a twin size, for a twin XL set up.  Three functional drawers, a duplex USB combo with a false front in the lower left space.  A 16 ga. extension cord was used for the electric supply.

 

 

Supposed to be pretty nice for most of the week.  Plans call for me to wash the Chevy truck today and get it in the shop to do some touch up paint along the top of the bed where an ill fitting hard tonneau cover wore through the paint leaving bare metal.  I need to do this inside because the pollen is so thick and heavy right now, it would for sure mess up the paint.

 

Also this week, a bunch of yard work.  Don't really need a bunch of sawdust flying around while I try to paint either...

Lots of windshield time, today. A few errands to run after we get the planter boxes situated. Might get in the shop after lunch. Then again, there's a high probability of a nap, too. Ah well, tomorrow's another day.

Morning to ya, ..Monday, what....again?

 

Last drawer is about of the clamps...handles (5) have been bought.   Not much going on..today

Jeez, @Gunny, you sure do put my bench drawers to shame!

 

Been designing some new containers for Mimi's counter top. The old salt cellar, sugar bowl and pepper grinder are lookin' pretty ragged. They were the prototypes for a bunch I made many years ago.

New set will have Celtic knots for the design.

Busy weekend for me. Too much road time, too little nap time. Main focus as weather permits is to unload remaining smalls, auction "treasures", sort, and disburse. Not much in the way of ww'ing items unless you count an 8 HP, Craftsman Chipper/Shredder? Technically it does transform wood. Several Craftsman hand tools in totes and boxes it appears. Most will be gifted.

 

Daughter needs the agitator & pump belt changed on her Maytag washer. Just received the belts from Amazon.

 

BTW,  today is National Weed Appreciation Day, so spend some QT with your weeds. Who knew?

I like those wood-handled screwdrivers on the left (when I have to use a slotted screwdriver) and my favorite is a Pic-Quic multi-bit on the right.

Oddly enough, I first found it in the checkout lane at my local micro computer store.
