He will not.  I have asked him multiple times and his reply is that it isn't his drive.  He has no control over it.  I then asked if there is a link that anyone can download from, but can't access it for any reason, why can't he just email the plans to me.  He said that they are copyrighted.  The Shopsmith name is copyrighted but not the model plans.  Also, Tom that made the model at Woodshop Nerdery also said he would not share them.  If noone is willing to help me with this, I guess I will have to give up.  If you are fortunate to get them, could you please share them with me?  Eight years of looking for them is getting tiring!

I didn't watch the videos, so I don't know what it is that you are wanting to build, but if you have a picture of the finished product, you should be able to reverse engineer it and make a working copy for your own use.

If you watched any Nick Englert Shopsmith Online videos, it can be seen on the top right cabinet in some of his videos.  It is a wood miniature Shopsmith Mark v model.

BTW, Welcome to The Patriot Woodworker @cpuman6mgl. Glad you found us. Hopefully someone here can help you on your quest. Stop by the Introduce Yourself forum and tell us a little about yourself.

If you haven't  also peruse the Shopsmith forums here. Several members have one or more in use in their shops.

BTW, newbies bring donuts. Your day is tomorrow. Make mine chocolate covered yeast.:P

Like Dab, I requested access to the file, lets see what happens.

There is a fellow on that reply board by the name of Bruce Miller who has downloaded, perhaps we could somehow get in touch with him and ask him if he'd be kind enough to email a copy.

I found him on the first video for the mini Shopsmith build.

John,

I just sent Bruce an email request for the plans.  Hopefully he will respond and send them.

Hey Johnny, I think I am gaining traction, I shot Nick Engler an email asking him if he had them, I followed a dead link to his forum that I think is not live anymore, where the plans were located. So I shot Nick an email and he was kind enough to reply back and stated he does not have them anymore, but he did leave a message on that YouTube board asking Jim for a set. Apparently Nick and a friend actually designed those plans, so hopefully that'll convince Jim to let loose a pdf copy to Nick, and then to us? Cross fingers! Both gentlemen have been very kind throughout the correspondence.

Ya, that doesn't work. The problem is he has access to the drive, the general public doesn't.

Here is the link, try it and see if anyone here can access the drive.
