:ChinScratch: Friday again, and another month gone. :SaluteandRun:

:Tapping: Seems like that went fast. :huh: Guess the older :OldManSmiley: we get the clock goes faster, or we get slower. :WonderScratch:

Here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" we're trying to get ready for a quick trip to "Three Weeks From Anywhere" SWMBO :Praise: wants to visit sister.

:ChinScratch: Wonder if that time warp might slow the clock down? :unsure:

Anyway, What's on your weekend agenda? :huh:

Nephew is coming back down with his camper.  I told him last night that I think last weekends work was a case of two steps forward and one step back.  I suggested that we remove some bracing that we installed last week and replace it with something different...  We will have all day Saturday, I would like to get the ceiling and roof done so that he can move forward on his own for a week or two.

Also, trying to get the design hammered down for our daughters credenza - for lack of a better word for it.  She is rolling in this evening and I hope to show her what I am thinking.

Sat. is also game day.  UGA vs Arkansas, should be a good game.

I will be busy.

Busy weekend in the shop planned.  Raining cats and dogs today.

--->>> BIG NEWS <<<---

I got all necessary clearances from CIC (Mrs. Boss) to move my reloading operation out of the shop and into my home office.

--->>> :CowboyPistol::CowboyPistol: <<<---

Spent evenings this week cleaning out the closet and putting up shelves.  Sourced a small heavy duty bench and will be adding a birch butcher block top to it for starters.  I've had to maintain a delicate balance of power in the shop for decades.  Reloading and woodworking tools have been fighting for territory each trying to keep the other from taking over.  The woodworking tools ultimately won the war.  Under a negotiated settlement treaty, the reloading tools are in retreat to the DWZ (De-woodshop zone).  More on this later...

I've got several bowl blanks to turn and it has been...um...suggested that I finish Mrs. Boss's box.

  • Visitors again. I will be attempting to get something done in the media room between airport pickups and entertaining them.

Mimi said it was OK to pack up the pool for the winter. That's an all day job.

Hope to get back in the shop soon, congestion is finally starting to ease up.

theater set construction all day Saturday.   We are not getting a lot of volunteers for this production

Grandson in science class today.  Teacher had some freshmen and seniors as students and parked all the students down wind from the rocket launches.  Teacher is an engineering teacher.  Right?  Several rockets went off over the students heads.  Another one hit our grandson in the crotch, made a puncture in his leg, black burning gun powder on his pants in a couple of places.  After school, the teacher called dad to see if the grandson was ok.  Dad now so upset he is looking for a lawsuit.  Who knows what will happen.  Grandson was still bleeding tonight.  May need professional medical care.

Mowed more yard, grocery shopped, paid monthly bills, baking a birthday cake tomorrow.  Sunday, I hope to mow more and get back to the steamy locomotive.  Right now, a main part is more like designer firewood.

 Completed the tile install a week ago Friday and let it set over the weekend. Installed the grout on Mon. & Tues. and sealed it on Thursday. Friday applied silicone caulk between countertop & backsplash, installed sink & plumbing, connected dishwasher. Cut hood vent chimney to size and installed hood.  I'll cut the grass today before the rains come.

Just typing all the out would have worn me out.  Tile job looks better than if the tile guy would have shown up!
