Maybe there is a calling for recreating spindles.  Another friend needed a spindle so I made him a couple to choose one from.  One is Maple and the other is Oak.  Need to get them in the mail to him.  Left the ends on again.  They make nice handles when finishing.

 You're right Lew, making one is easy, doing multiples, not so much. Nice work Dan!

They are close but they are different.  Like has been said before, the eye will not catch it once they are not sitting next to each other.

Dan, with all that nice weather, those look perfectly matched.  Did you use a duplicator device?  They look that good.  Great job.
