A change of plans.  No one in this area stocks any type of table top epoxy.  The Woodcraft website says their clear epoxy will yellow with age and is not recommended over a light colored surface.  Daughter says this is unacceptable...  So, at this point I am considering either a clear paint or lacquer finish.

Gene & Gunny - one of the you tubes I watched had the presenter doing this job barefoot!!!

Prices?  I cannot compare the hardwoods to anything

No shipping charge will make their prices very attractive.

I owe our local Ace an apology.  They actually have some table top epoxy on the shelf!  I read over the instruction sheet with it and it does say not to use it over a white surface.

I bought a quart of brush on lacquer and went to work.  This is the first time I've used the brush on lacquer.

Found an eBay seller that makes pulleys for this sander.  All the other places I looked would have one, maybe 2 and they were alot more than I paid for all 4.  A good many didn't have any listed replacements.  For the drive belt I went with a Link Belt.  Have used on both TS and DP with no issue so why change what is working.  Old belt was SQUARE.

Hey Gunny, on the wall to the right of the sander, just above the spare sanding belts... is this one of those free HF magnetic catch cans? :throbbinghead:

I'm sure you are aware, but it lacks a label...

Hey, did you pick up that planer at the auction last week?
