I really like the lathe tool that Steve posted and it reminded me of a lathe tool I bought many years ago at a garage sale. I was so intrigued with it that had to have it and even the $2 price didn't deter me. I have used it a few times, but for the most part, it stays in a drawer. I figure it is at least 100 years old. There are no markings of any kind on it. I'd even give $2 for it again!:)

That's a gem! I like the old tools, it's amazing to me what a true craftsman could do with them. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I am spoiled by our more modern options and I don't have the patience or the skill set to use many hand tools.
