Popular Post DAB Posted March 22, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted March 22, 2021 spent an hour to clean the shop up, and then sanded and repainted a fountain, with oil based paint this time. Larry Buskirk, lew, Gunny and 5 others 8 Quote
Popular Post Gunny Posted March 22, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted March 22, 2021 Working on layout for taps and dies. @steven newman sent me a bunch that expanded my current set. So they don't fit in old box. Time for better storage with readable labels. lew, DuckSoup, Larry Buskirk and 5 others 8 Quote

Well, maybe a little bit... laying out the base for a shed.... Workbench? Worked most of the afternoon...until the back declared "Quitting Time".. Lot of bolt-up sub-assemblies... Cal, lew, Fred W. Popular Post AndrewB Posted March 22, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted March 22, 2021 Its hurry up and wait for my parts to be delivered via amazon this evening before I can even start to finish working on my projects. DuckSoup, lew, steven newman and 4 others 7 Quote
Popular Post FlGatorwood Posted March 23, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted March 23, 2021 Absolutely nothing toward woodworking. Cleaned the fence of my back yard yesterday and cleaned up the 1.6 acres near the base. Mowed my own yard over the weekend and will mow the big yard tomorrow. Also, will burn the rubbish that I picked up in the big yard. Getting my exercise but not losing a pound. Something so wrong with that. LOL Artie, Gerald, p_toad and 9 others 10 2 Quote

Popular Post John Hechel Posted March 23, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted March 23, 2021 I worked 5 hours at the regular job both days, Saturday after a nap we went to the camper to replace some mouse traps, and plant some lilies. so nothing in the shop that day. On Sunday after work we ran a few errands, then finally shop time. well just enough shop time to sharpen a scraper so I could begin removing the wall paper boarder in the master bath. came downstairs for a sack to find that my wife had started removing the old microwave to make it easier for me to put the new one in. OH Joy.... steven newman, Fred W. Hargis Jr, DuckSoup and 5 others 6 2 Quote

It was actually a Sorby spiraling tool https://www.grizzly.com/products/robert-sorby-spiralling-system/h9100?gclid=CjwKCAjwgOGCBhAlEiwA7FUXknvjK4WTfzxLgbavHI7qYBnVB0FuxrFxUoTOp3JM-b7TDxBD9Ft0lhoC18IQAvD_BwE I’m still learning how to use it. Mine is the larger version. They make a smaller one but I got this one used at a good price. HARO50, DuckSoup, steven newman and 2 others 4 1 Quote

Popular Post Gerald Posted March 23, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted March 23, 2021 Did not get much done in shop. Went to Sam's Club with wife so hat killed almost 3 hours. Started to the shop but stopped in the yard to pick up sticks and decided I needed to burn the cut off from the roses still in the yard. Finally in the shop and finished a box with lid so the puppy cannot get into my stuff beside my chair. Guess it was time to go in. Cal, lew, DuckSoup and 4 others 7 Quote

Popular Post DuckSoup Posted March 23, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted March 23, 2021 (edited) Spent the better part of the week locating and ordering material for the kitchen remodel. The ball is in her court now with tile & lighting. I did get in the shop and started working on a fence for my router table. Spent yesterday gathering material for a welder outlet at my SIL shop, I'll install that today. Great looking bowl Lew! Edited March 23, 2021 by DuckSoup Fred W. It's been fun times but, nothing got done in the shop. We did get nine more trees planted. Hope to get back to work on the shop Thursday. FlGatorwood, Gerald, DuckSoup and 7 others 9 1 Quote
