March 21, 20215 yr Popular Post I used a scraper for the first time today. I have one that is around 3/4” round nose. It came in a Benjamin’s Best kit I bought years ago. I sharpened it and tried it and liked it a lot. Thinking about buying a good one. Thinking about a 1” with a curved left side. Looking for opinions and good brands.

Thanks Gerald. I have watched a couple of his videos. That is what got me to try the one I have. It seemed a lot less scary after watching him.

March 23, 20215 yr Very useful tool. The one I have is from Record Power and it’s very old. It’s about 1 1/2” and very heavy. It dates back to before my father and I don’t think it’s HSS. If you’re going to buy a new one I would consider one from Mike Thompson. Paul
