Welp lathe has been bolted down finally.  I could only manage to use 3 bolts to lock it down but in my past cases with these types of lathes all it needed was three lock down bolts to keep it from walking and seemed to do a pretty good job of it.  I also removed that front cover I can just sweep up underneath plus it looked pretty tacky.  How ever I wont be removing the ones on the back wall and a bonus is there is plenty of room to put in some sort of dust collection system haven't figured out yet if I'm going to buy a set up or make one.

The bench is well officially FINISHED off finally.  I got the last little bits of wood I needed this afternoon and just now finished it off.  Just in time too because I ordered the extension bed for the delta lathe so I needed a bit more space.  The lathe itself is yes bolted in place and the bench the lathe is sitting on is mounted to the extended bench piece and of course mounted to the wall studs I don't think this bench is going anywhere.  It would probably take a pretty good sized quake to shake it loose at least.  Just need to finish off the back plating so no wood shavings fall behind the bench in between the studs.  Then of course in the long run a dust collection system.

Lathe is fully set up just got the bed extension tied in and bolted down.  Took some work to get the ends to line up the tail-stock and banjo will be a bit of getting used to to get through the entire bed but that part is done.  Next get rid of a few useless tools Old little craftsman bench sander that is busted an old harbor freight bench top buffer that needs to go to the dump and of course some more small organizing to do lists but yep its on the move its getting there.  Then it will be time to figure out the dust collection on how I'm going to set that up.  I'm thinking a 2 1/2 inch hose running under neath the bench that is supporting the head stock of the lathe and either buying a metal dust collection opening or making one out of wood haven't quite figured that out yet since I do not as of yet have a table saw.  The bed extension ran about 121 bucks 132 bucks after tax and shipping but well worth it.

299 things out of 300 to do in the shed.  Bench grinder is finally mounted in place.  Along with the wolverine tool rest mounted in its place next to the lathe.  So another win win for me now back to HSS tools grinder in place.  Next thing I need to do is figure out how to place the shop vac so I can use it as a dust collection system unless I just pick up a small one for the bench.
