MWTCA What's It

I know I am late getting this months MWTCA up and live, I am having a hard time locating new "What's It's" from the MWTCA website, there are hundreds of images to go through, and finding one we have not attempted to solve, is harder and harder. Thank you for your patience!

Trying to finish my table legs this week, but the weather may interfere. it's so nice I'm sure I'll be outdoors. Maybe even a trip to the gun range.

Get my second dose of vaccine this morning and the dentist tomorrow morning.  Trying to find something to do Wednesday that's a little less abusive.

Had to get yard order after a winter that was wet and cold. Took Saturday and Sunday to get back to my normal.

 Going for my initial vaccine this morning. Sorting drawers in shop and getting rid of things I've been looking for & have since replaced.

One more trip to the Borg, for a couple of hardware items and the new Steady will be finished.

 

Finally got all my Mom's tax documents. Need to take them to the accountant's office.

You can still get a colonoscopy scheduled

Onward with the ceiling tiles in the media room and also try Sketchup to see if I like it. They have canceled the hobbyist feature in Fusion 360 and want $60/month now to use it so I want to try other software for the Shaper Origin.

Download Sketchup Make 2017- https://www.sketchup.com/download/all

It is free and works with all the extensions and plugins. Sketchup recently went to a subscription based product as their main program, Sketchup Make remains free and works fine for those not wanting to use it for a business. The biggest difference, from my limited knowledge, between Auto-Cad type programs and Sketchup is that Sketchup is designed around surfaces and edges while others are designed around "solids".

It's Tuesday.

We are in for a beautiful spring week according to the weatherman.  I have several pallets of sod being delivered tomorrow to replace the backyard terrace that was removed last week.  I will spend most all day today smoothing out the ground and preparing for the sod, and then likely a day or two to lay it, roll it and get it watered in.  About 3,000 square feet, six pallets.  It sure has changed the looks of the back yard already.

 

I may get an hour here or there to work on the dresser this week.

Almost finished the rearrangement of the lathe area. Just have some lighting to finish and cleanup , but you know shop layout is never set in concrete. Looks like I have sold my Jet. On FB and he has seen nothing but the pictures and description. Now the shop looks like it has so much more room. Pics when done.
