February 1, 20215 yr Nice looking bowl Rusty. Osage Orange is a great looking wood and has always been yellow in my experience. Like everything else it turns to brown eventually.

February 1, 20215 yr Popular Post Rusty, You do know that that beautiful bowl will turn a rich medium to dark brown, don't you? Exposure to light will hasten the process. Once thoroughly dried, Osage Orange is one tough timber. A friend makes his Boule marquetry holding devices and work stands from Osage.
