December 20, 20205 yr Popular Post So this will be the first larger project that I've done... It was a bit tricky using the HF lathe. How ever I have a resolve for that depending on the outcome of some things. Either way at least if that gets taken care of I should have a new lathe before I actually have to go and finish this off. But I think this bowl is around 8 to 10 inches in diameter and probably 3 and a half to 4 inches in depth. So the largest project I've done so far with the tools I have. It was a bit tricky. Either way its not at is final shape but its shaped and hollowed out and got it in its box of wood shavings to finish drying out.
December 20, 20205 yr Author I think even the mid sized EWT carbides might be too small for that I may have to purchase a full sized hollower LOL.
