This will make close to 60 for the year. These will go on our tree or be gifted.

Thx Dan. It's the waterborne lacquer that William, last name escapes me, from the old WOOD forum told me about. The guy who made all the ringmaster bowls. It's simply the easiest, most forgiving finish I've ever used. 2 seal coats of spray can shellac, sanded, then 3 coats of that "lacquer".

I've got to give these a try, that will let me know if I remember anything about turning. 

You have much more skills and patience than I and I am very proud that you have those talents.  I love each design you posted.  Those are absolutely awesome.
