Thread size is correct, just wondering if the Nova jaws will fit the Delta G3-D or if they are Delta specific. Quite a bit newer than what I'm used to dealing with. In the past some vender supplied Delta accessories were specific to Delta.
December 5, 20205 yr Popular Post My experience says very few if any jaws exchange between manufacturers. I have tried with what I have and found the holes not spaced the same and one was spaced the same but the screws were different sizes. I would suggest staying with one brand. I chose OneWay but ended up with different chucks from purchasing used lathes. I have 5 lathes.

What I'm not sure about is if they used the same chuck jaws or something specific to the Delta branded chuck. I had put one in my watch item listings on eBay!, and the seller made me an offer for roughly 1/3 the list price that Home Depot has them listed for. It is new in the box.
December 6, 20205 yr Larry, I found this information. December 6, 20205 yr It has been my limited experience that most jaws are not interchangeable between brands, no matter the manufacturer. The jaws are vendor specific in most cases. If it were me, I would take one jaw from a Nova to see if it fits the Delta. And, I would try using the screws from the Delta to see if it fits correctly. I would not want it to come flying apart toward you while it was spinning. Please stay out of the line of fire. Hope to see your results soon.
December 6, 20205 yr I have the Delta G3 and yes it is made by Nova and the Nova jaws fit all Nova (including Delta) chucks except Titan . The main difference in the Delta is that the jaws are 1 inch deep instead of the usual 1/2 inch. As far as I know the one set is jaws was all that Delta had made to provide with the chuck.
December 6, 20205 yr Author Thanks everyone that responded, I think this will be a go. Basically want for doing small items such as ornaments, rolling pins, etc..
December 9, 20205 yr Author ...Well that came fast! And since my old Delta Milwaukee 930 11" lathe doesn't have a live tail stock. Figure I didn't do too bad for about a C note for both.
