Geez I almost forgot it's Friday again.

Guess we'll be eating leftovers through the weekend. :Eat:

Bit cold and cloudy here, so not much going on other than day dreaming. :DayDreaming:

So, what's on your weekend agenda?

Mimi has decided it's time "WE" take down the fall decorations and start the process for decorating for Christmas. "Taking down" is easy the rest will take until December 25.

As we celebrate Ukrainian Christmas on Jan 7 I get a pass till the 15th on putting up tree and decorate it.  Have not done outside decorations in 14 years.

Our trees are outside, they get decorated with bird feeders, birds, and squirrels.

Getting the outdoor furniture put away for the winter, and I started pulling out the decorations. We don't do a lot outside, but we do have a few we put outside our family room window (back of the house) for us.

Wife asked which leftovers we should have for dinner.   When I realized it was actually Friday, I asked if she didn't want the traditional Friday Pizza dinner.   Duh, she said.    I ran out this morning for an appointment and then a couple of stops.   Traffic at the shopping area was a zoo.   Especially since most "Black Friday Sales" are running online or a week or more.   Came home empty handed.    We have noticed that since March, our credit card statements have been 1/3 to 1/2 our traditional.   Wife and I decided that we would simply do "stocking stuffers" for each other this year and not gifts.  Two of the usual stuffers for me are deodorant and razors.   Won't need either of those this year.

Now, off to the shop and work on the star.  Tomorrow is clean up and clean out day at the theater shop.

I've been watching the traffic go by the house, and I'm not going anywhere if I can help it. :WhoMe:

Traffics going by like we live on an interstate. <_<

I can just imagine what the stores are like.

Is it good sign when there are 2 cops inside each of Wall E World's 2 entrances?  :BugEyeSmiley:  We got there AFTER the 0500 opening (0900, actually..) all the idiots by then were on the way to brunch/lunch.....

Got the parts needed to fix the leaky kitchen faucet......will work on the new sprayer once all the junk under the sink has been tossed out.    Shut-out valve for the cold water line to the sink needs a new handle....problem being..I will have to buy a new valve just for the handle....grrrrr:BangingHead:

beyond that?   nada....at least planned....depending on what the Boss wants done....

BTW:   Leaky faucet was because of a chewed up rubber seal....the one that looks like a cup, with a spring inside.....unable to even find the old spring....new one fits just find...no more drips from the faucet....running up the METERED Water bill...

Been working on outside decorations for two days and still a little to go but raining today and tomorrow. May make more changes outside as over half the lights in my arches need work. So after I bring in the tree it is off to the shop to work on presents. the pic is 2016. The whole subdivision does this and during the month there are almost caravans coming thru.

Got this drawer finished.

So now I admit I am stumped.  Next 2 drawers are metric and standard tap and dies.  Need a box no taller than 2 1/2 inches.  Anybody have some ideas on a layout?  The plastic boxes they are in let the smaller ones go everywhere if you pick up. Very annoying.  Can't store them standing up. Maybe like a drill index?

I keep mine in the plastic case, but it has a small piece of foam in it that compresses a little when you close it, that seems to hold them in their place.

Yeah I can put that in the case I have.  My reason for a change is to allow the box to stay in drawer and open front to back. The box I have is side to side and you have to take it out to get a tap or die.  Call me lazy but I like convenient.:D.  Got some extra taps that expand my set. AND would like labels so I can see the size without a microscope.:throbbinghead:
