Thanks. I forgot to add they are 15 inches in diameter and 5.25 inches tall. These are what I need polydraw for.

Downright purdy bowl there, podner. Sorry I didn't get to see it earlier. Care to talk about the cutout method you used?

Interesting.

Here is a picture of the pattern. I don’t think you can buy the pattern anywhere. I draw the patterns myself and take them to Office Depot where they enlarge it to 15 inches in diameter and print them on a plotter.

Ingenious! Did you need a blade hole or did you enter directly? If the latter, you sure disguised the cut very well.

I missed this when it was first posted, those bowls are really cool!

Very unique.

Well, I never imagined one of these.  This is totally awesome on so many levels.  Sure would love to see how you cut them and what woods you used.  Also, how deep?

why don't you take that pattern to a print shop and have them print out a bunch of copies or am I missing something in you explaining??

Or check with who ever sells scroll saw magazines for Patrick Spielman has that pattern on the front of one of his magazines. And if you have that magazine tear out that pattern and send it to me and I will print out as many as you need and any size any one wants, no charge.

I have that book. The pattern in the book has 8 undulations, Rusty's has 12. The size is 15" x 15", can you print that big? The pattern in the book is a half pattern, so a person would have to print it, enlarge it, tape together the two halves, etc.

One of the reasons to create your own patterns is to eliminate the issue of copyright infringement.

Thank you. I drill a hole for the blade out on the tips. They get sanded out and covered when they get stacked and glued.

It is laminated pine. I buy it 16 inches wide by 6 feet long by 3/4 inch thick. The stain I use on them is called Gun Stock.

Thanks for the offer. I have a program that will design these. I have made them with as few as 7 undulations and as many as 20. I have the different designs saved. I bring them to Office Depot on a flash drive. They will enlarge it and print whatever I need.
