September 26, 20205 yr Need a printing program that will work on a xp. I thought I had some older programs but cannot find. Suggestions?
September 26, 20205 yr Yes but for what kind of printer? HP, Cannon? Inkjet? If anything a search for programs on Cnet downloads you can find quite a bit. I mean its risky going through there because they are torrent downloads so risk of a virus infecting your machine. It just all depends on the brand of your printer for the software you're looking for.
September 26, 20205 yr @lew if he's trying to print pictures the older machines wont do as well for that. @BillyJack It would be cheaper in alternative to purchase a newer model printer that can handle everything from printing pictures documents and copying. If the machine is too old the programs for them may no longer exist. With older machines its sort of a buyer beware on programs for them. If the discs are still around then I would advise using a disc. Depending on the age of the printer you might even be out of luck on trying to find a program that you can download with out having to download it from a program downloading website like Cnet.

September 26, 20205 yr I would go to my printer site and find software that will support XP OS. Then you can add all the other PhotoShop or Avery by asking Google. Of course, I am old school and I love XP. I have Windows 10 and absolutely hate it. It's always trying to load up something from Microsoft. I may wipe it off and use only Linux.

September 26, 20205 yr If all you want to do is print your photos, why not just use the built in Windows Photo viewer and print from there?
