Not sure what I'm going to do this weekend, but "What's on Your Weekend Agenda?"

Got grass to cut if rain cooperates.  Short cbu wall to repair in backyard, and clear out a garden area and put weed block and mulch in.  Nothing big.

Finish milling rolling pin stock and start the building process.

Turning a couple more pen barrels.  I did send out a couple pen blanks to a friend of mine in eastern washington and apparently they were decent enough for him LOL.  I also plan on trying out a new camera recording angle TOP DOWN view using the phone.  I'll tell ya one thing recording with an iphone and trying to get it over to a windows machine is a complete and utter PAIN.

You should be able download the videos from your iCloud account. I like the free Download Manager https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/ or just use your charging cable and connect the iphone to the PC via USB. The Windows file explorer should recognize the phone and allow you to open it to view the files. Once there, you can use the regular Windows drag and drop from the phone to your PC.

What Lew said, yep I have done it that way many times.

I cloud is a pain for me to fully understand how to use it.  The camera on my phone does GREAT for recording video for how much I spent on the phone.....  How ever..... I cloud is completely foreign to me especially coming from Windows and Android which was 20 times easier just drag and drop video into the PC and done.  Cloud you only have limited storage in the phone.... I mean this is what I shot today.... As you can see the video quality is good enough for me not to invest in a digital cam corder and it doesn't get in the way.  Just transfering video to my PC is some what challenging the icloud thing for some reason doesnt work for me at all.  But that's the way I do these I load them up to youtube download them to the pc then edit then re post as this final product.

ITS SUCH A PAIN IN THE BUTT.  I turned 3 sets of pen barrels to get the right footage I wanted, not only that the time it took to get a 13 minute video edited and uploaded my word LOL.

Loading pictures and videos, is quite a pain for most people that don’t understand how to do it correctly but once you get the process down, it’s just like android or anything else as far as ease of operation. I must admit it took me a bit of time to get the process down but once I got it it’s easy for me.

I would not even bother with the cloud for transfer.

Plug your iphone directly to the PC using USB. Unlock the phone and windows should recognize it. You may have to click "OK" to trust the computer. Windows should ask you what you want to do when opening the phone- download photos, view files, etc. I always just view files. At that point Windows just sees your phone as another storage device. You can explore the phone files.

I've basically been as I said uploading the raw video to youtube from the phone then downloading to PC LOL.  Talk about time consuming

@lew  I've tried that several times with the iphone via plugging it in directly to the pc.  The videos do not want to simply drag over to the pc with out getting an error message coming across the monitor saying it doesnt like this and kicks me back.  So I gave up on it LOL and went right back to just uploading it on to youtube then downloading it again.  Of course I set the raw footage to private and then download but either way.  Takes a good portion of the afternoon for one edit.  I can only imagine what that's going to be like for when I start recording the bowls.  SHEESH.

Yes knowing what version of Windows is very important at this point because you can even back up your phone to your computer if you know how to do it or can have somebody show you.

I don’t have one actually lol this was all done earlier today.  I usually don’t screen shot that stuff and move on to the next improvision and get it done lol.  Small side note my system is running on windows 10.

Good windows 10 is usually the better option of all of them so far other than well I liked Windows XP when it came out but that’s just me
