Just in case you are looking for a deal. Got an email today from Lee Valley with a sale on Norton Pro Sand 3X pack of 80 in 80/120/180/220 for $34.50 and free shipping over $30. yes I know not a sponsor but what a deal. I always buy the 3X when I can find as it got scarce a few years ago and now seems is most everywhere again.

Gerald could a person select the 4 different grits he uses in place of the 4 that you listed how they come???
Already a good buy but my preference is different? 3X has been my choice since they came out with it!

No this is a prepacked deal apparently. I have bought it before and just have to fill in any others Till I use up the ones not in my regular mix.

Here is link.   Lee Valley USA

I used Norton until 3M came out with their 7X.  I prefer it over the Norton.  It's my opinion it works better and has a coating on the back that makes it easier to hold onto.

well this is what I like with my carving. Its like rubber and last very long. Hard to find it and I think the cost has kept some from even trying it.IMG_20191202_115244157.jpg.5569467c420bf6ef6402bc86310e1d43.jpg

The package shows purple but the paper is greyish.

Gerald, did you clean them out ? It tells me that it is unavailable online - to check at the local stores.   That is a really good deal, Thanks, Gerald.

Have you guys tried the Ace brand? They all work well for me. And, Lowes carries the Shopsmith branded papers. They're Nortons...I think. But, Ace is closer for me.

I am still cutting through the large haul from a van I cleaned out. 3 drawers full of all grits you can dream about.:D
