February 18, 20206 yr Spent the last 5 days packing and prepping. Phyl has been doing most of the packing and sorting things to go to the yard sale. I've been sprucing up, dealing with buyers of stuff we have on Craigslist, and trying to get the shop in presentable shape. Since word got out that we're selling the property, we've been fielding calls from folks in CA, NM, and NV. We've been referring everybody to our listing agent. She thinks that maybe we priced it too low. I expect we'll be at this process for the next few weeks....if we can keep up.
February 18, 20206 yr Finished up some doors for my neighbor. Due to his particular renovations I had to work around some rather odd building. That is my polite way of saying he was drunk when he did the work with his equally drunk buddy years ago. But I was successful and he has two working doors that no longer hit the ceiling partition. Only thing I would have done differently is to build my own door verses using a ready made from the borg. His main concern was if he got trashed and hit it rather than being able to shrug it off it would be a trip to the ER. My doors are not into that BDSM stuff. They fight back.
February 18, 20206 yr Gene, I can't think whether the mesa is going to miss you or if you are going to miss the mesa. I hope this transition goes well for you and Phyllis. John, thanks for the thread. I finished the last of the rolling pins this weekend in addition to keeping the grandchildren. Picked up new glasses today. A bit funky at the moment, but I'll adjust. Have more turnings to do this week.
