Maple, Cherry and walnut

I turned this Curley maple bowl, two small bowls made from cherry and a small walnut vase for a friend that I served with in Vietnam.  I burned the edge of the Curley maple bowl...started by accident, but thought it looked good.

I agree about the burned edge on the maple bowl. That detail really adds to the beauty!

He is a very good friend.  Thank you very much for the kind words.

You been keeping that talent under wraps.  You must have had secret mission in Nam.  :D  Really nice work.  Please keep posting.  This is the kind of stuff we look for.

Nice shapes and finish on these pieces

Haven't heard much from you Pauley.  You were talking about moving up to the Concord area. Have you moved or are you still in the Derry area. Glad you're still aboard.

Great job on the bowls!!

Haven’t moved yet...we’re hoping it’s going to be very soon.  I wasn’t feeling well for a little while, but I’m better now...
