elect plug sparks when it is plugged in

Featured Replies

Mine did this the other day when adding new wire through conduit. Worked fine on a test  but when I pulled the plug and went too reply it back in it sparked. Guess it scrapped the wire pushing through the conduit and with enough pressure it caught the metal screw...

Head scratching there for moment. I've been zapped by 220 before. Dont like lt. Not my kinda thrill.....

Yup, had that moment as well.  Then once I had neighbor give me 100 ft of wire.  Never checked it just installed in plastic conduit and hooked it up.  Nothing.  Pulled it all back out and found the spot where it must have been used for something and kinked.  Got the wires internally but showed nothing externally.  Used fresh stock and tossed the other.  OOPs.
