Popular Post Gerald Posted September 16, 2019 Popular Post Report Posted September 16, 2019 Rockler email today has a video on making a bent lamination chair and has a contest linked to it. It is a interesting process but labor and time intensive. ROCKLER BENT WOOD CHALLENGE Gunny, FlGatorwood, Cal and 2 others 5 Quote
lew Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 Cool! I've tried some laminated bending on a trellis top. It worked out pretty well, but really messy glue-ups. I also made some modernistic salad tongs using the same method. I did a little steam bending for edge bands on some larger trivets. If you try that, don't use PVC pipe for your steam chamber (don't ask how I know this!) FlGatorwood, Cal, p_toad and 1 other 1 3 Quote

I have given this method a try couple of times, works okay but I agree it is very messy. Cal and FlGatorwood 2 Quote
