New bowl. It is maple. It measures close to 11 inches in diameter and 2 inches thick.

It was already dry. I bought a piece of Maple 11.5 inches wide by 2 inches thick by 24 inches long at Woodcraft. I have enough to make another one. I forgot to mention that the finish is beeswax.
