January 21, 20197 yr I bought one very similar at HD made by Husky. It has been great and very precise. One feature I especially like is the on/off switch. It slides and disengages the battery. Most have a micro switch that easily turns on with a touch. A touch you didn't realize you did. That leads to dead batteries.
January 22, 20197 yr Popular Post I use a big Irwin and an old Swanson for replicating angles. When I need to know what the angle is I use my Starret (505, I think)...it's an analog readout but can be used for many more things. I also use a template ruler for more complex cuts. Haven't made the leap to digital readout...probably won't. Whatever you buy make sure it's a big T-bevel (9, 10, 11 inches)...it will be easier to align it along one of it's axis on the piece to be cut.
January 22, 20197 yr I have one, can't remember the brand, not HF,I haven't figured out how to use it. It doesn't read the angle I want,it is always 180°minus my angle, I can understand roof pitch math,i.e. 3/12,4/12, 6/12,.........12/12 thats 45°. Herb
