January 18, 20197 yr Popular Post Some time back I had asked about a digital protractor to compliment the Wixey. Well, the other day I was at Lowes and happened to see this hanging on the rack. Does anyone have one? Does it work as advertised? The Wixey took my woodworking up a couple of notches. I could see this doing the same...
January 19, 20197 yr No input Cal...don't have one...actually the first time I've seen one...I really should get out more. Looking forward to your review.

January 19, 20197 yr Author I picked one up yesterday. The HD price was same as Amazon, Lowes did a price match for me on that. Not sure when I will give it a whirl, a lot of to-do's lined up in front of me right now... will for sure post up a review after I have a chance to use it.
January 19, 20197 yr Depends on how you use it. If you are transferring the angle from one piece to another, the digital readout wouldn't be needed. If you're setting a blade angle on the TS, it would save time. And it's digital. Much cooler.
January 19, 20197 yr Popular Post I use the old fashioned kind but, being clumsy, I'm always leery that it loses the angle as it's carried from the work to the saw. A digital one can be re set...as long as you remember the numbers.

January 20, 20197 yr I have one that is similar but I believe mine was made by Wixey. It really is handy. Before Ingot my Kreg miter, I would use the digital protractor to set my miter for angle cuts. Can’t beat it.
January 20, 20197 yr Popular Post I have had the General one for some time. Not a tool I use often, but handy when you need it. Just one suggestion.......... Buy batteries in bulk! John
