Pretty darn slick!

Saw this a few days ago...pretty creative.

He missed  a couple things:

He needs a blade that cuts a flat bottom kerf

he did not consider the sacrificial board for tear out prevention

 

I saw a Dovetail rig for the TS  the creator had a saw blade ground to lay off at an angle and give a flat bottom.  He did one side of the cut and then flipped the board for the other.  It looked pretty slick too

Yeah I noticed that also too besides not setting the blade height which he noted at the end.

I'm not  big fan of raking the board back & forth across an open moving blade for clean-up either, but that's just me.

Still the concept is simplistic compared to most and appears to be accurate.
