Pretty well Stick...thanks for asking...they all had to go back to school yesterday after the Christmas break.

busy morning:  got the oil changed in the truck (thank you Chevy garage, they also rotated tires and did a safety check, all is well), got some supplies from Lowes and Home Depot, got gas for the truck, and then once home, had to pull a neighbor out of the ditch (icy road) near our gate, and later spotted a car parked at the gate, investigated, and gave them directions to where they wanted to go (they were on the wrong road).  leftover chili for lunch.  and now helped my wife start to un-decorate the house.  23 crates to go.... just doing pictures today.

Update on the widow's table.  First picture are the boards all cut to length, outside corners rounded and edges sanded.

Picture 2 is one side of the table and picture 3 is the other side of the table.  Secured by corrosion resistant screws from McFeely's.  

 

She had a rough day.  One of her rental houses needs a new roof.  While she was gone today, I sneaked into her back yard and did this little job.  So, I waited while doing other odd jobs to see if she found it.  By dark she had not called.  So, I called and told her that she had new bum parking areas on her outside table.  It made her day which made mine as it was something that made her happy.  She offered to pay for the materials, but her joy was all I wanted.  But, I did tell her that she can call me when she paints it and I'll just watch.

My sister got these from me Monday. She is thrilled.

update:  got an email today, a gift card from my sister to Cabelas.  woot.  time to head down to the nearest one (hour's drive away in Albuquerque - avoid left turns! ) and see what i can find when i combine hers with another i got at Christmas from my BIL.
