December 15, 20187 yr If you can, quarter saw it. Otherwise, it might not be as fine grained as you like...just judging from your posted work.

December 19, 20187 yr Just be sure it is dry and insect free. Then use is as any other air dried wood. Before briginning it indoors put it in the garage. Make sure it has no insects or larva. Then once you are sure (after about 30 days and no evidence) you can bring it in then quarter saw on the band saw.
