A long video, 52 minutes, but if you start watching, you may not be able stop, so grab a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage, and enjoy. The final outcome is a beautiful refined piece of work.

real world talent...

Wow - I fast forwarded through it.  I will have to go back to see the whole thing, but that is some work right there!

Lots of hard work.  Beautifully done though.

At the beginning, I love the sound of that ax echoing through the forest.

On my list of things to do later today/tonight. It sounds like a excellent video. Knowing you john, you only post quality videos.

Interesting to see the old plumber's trick of smoothing caulk with a saliva-wet thumb isn't very new.

Manicure anyone?!

So happy you all enjoyed it, I know it's a long video, but hey, you just never know, it may interest you.

What a neat documentary, now I know, you can truly build a boat, with a pocket knife, and an axe!:D

A great video. Minimal tools, no plans, and a beautiful end result. I wonder how many generations that knowledge has been passed down from. Another good one John, thank you.

Very interesting process. Sad to say he may be the last generation to make these
