After our move to Kentucky, we have pretty much got all the new furniture and appliances as well as 90% of the knick-knacks and photos up on the walls and both "Guest Rooms" are all set up for visitors. I have been working on getting the boxes in the garage in order. So in our standard 2-Car Garage I have all of my tools and garage stuff on the one side and all the other "Non-Garage Stuff" on the other side with an aisle down the middle for access to enter and exit to to the house. We have done a good deal of weeding things out on the Non-Garage Stuff, but we still have a ways to go. We will be having our daughter flying out from California for Christmas and our son will be coming down from Indianapolis. We have a number of things for our kids to look though as there are a lot of their momentous and crafts that they made so we don't want them to make the choice for them. We have a pile of stuff to donate to local charities and other organizations. So once we get done with Christmas we will wrap up the garage so I can start working on setting up a shop in January.

Today we will be having some good friends of ours from California stopping by for a night or 2. They had been on a cross country trip visiting their family in Florida and took a cruise with them. Then they have been seeing relatives in Georgia before heading our way. It will be good to see them and show them around.

We used baby oil until mom pushed dad to get us Vitalis.  The oil was hard to get out of the pillow cases.

Weekend: Grand-daughter's had a good Sat at their swim meet...oldest two, 1st and a 3nd; youngest, (3) 2nds all to teammates who won; Christmas parade was deemed a success by oldest grandson from riding on his Cub Scout pack float; they won 2nd in the youth division; youngest "employed" his sisters to retrieve an over-sized bag of candy. There were over 60 units total...crowds were down probably due to the cold, windy & drizzle conditions; I was glad when it was over.;)

Busy week...sshhh...today is my wife's birthday:P. A couple of swim meets, choir concert, monthly trip for my step-dad to his retinal specialist which includes 6 month retinal scan; also a few small errands for him and projects at the house; time to renew my drivers license...looking forward to that mental & verbal abuse:angry:; anything else TBD...
