Popular Post Grandpadave52 Posted November 23, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted November 23, 2018 (edited) Girls had swim practice this AM. Today was our family Thanksgiving meal since the kids were gone yesterday. Boys currently have three rooms under occupation by various toy themes; living room Super-heroes, a bedroom of cars, trucks, and related, another bedroom serving as a staging area. Much to the cat's disdain, seems the dog is spending lots of time indoors the past couple of days. So far the dog remains terrified of the cat. On the other hand, the dog finds refuge on a bed with or w/o a grandkid. Weather such as it is, the shop remains closed until further notice. Wish it was open 'cause I could use the break. Larry Buskirk Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 Staying home, traffic past our place is real heavy, we're not willing to deal with the traffic/crowds. Keeping an eye on the approaching storm front, the forecasters are all predicting different scenarios. HARO50, Cal, Grandpadave52 and 1 other 3 1 Quote

DAB Posted November 24, 2018 Report Posted November 24, 2018 i was in such a hurry to make progress, that i attached the drawer fronts without first removing the blue tape labels underneath. eh, someone, 30 years from now will find them. Grandpadave52, Cal and Larry Buskirk 1 2 Quote
Popular Post DAB Posted November 24, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted November 24, 2018 and in place with pulls attached. the wood pattern ceramic tiles are just on the top loose presently. need to add a layer of plywood, then concrete board, then thinset and the tiles. edge will be wrapped with some wormy maple. grout, and then done! should wrap up this week. if you have a good eye, you'll notice the grain continues across all the drawer fronts. cut from one sheet of plywood, and kept track of what piece goes where. yay. Sand and a coat of wipe on tomorrow. Should be totally done by Wednesday. Then, start on the Shelix planer blade replacement. HARO50, Cal and John Moody 3 Quote
