It is crunch time in Indiana.

Yep...couple of ways...keep an eye on my oldest grand-daughter tonight;)...she'll be just up the street (well road) from you at Blackford H.S. for R2 of ISHAA Football Sectionals. Know the coach at Blackford...a great guy! Gonna' be a long night for her due to the distance & weather...I suspect this will be her last H.S. game...BHS is 7-3 and was ranked in Class 3A; NMHS is 4-6.

Got over 1/2 the mowing done yesterday but looks like that's out for today due to the rain. Still picking up sticks etc. from last Saturday...need to clear the area where I mow next. Transport duties, errands tomorrow, maybe mowing...Sunday church...Anything else TBD.

Friday?

Ok, could have fooled me.

It's been almost 4 years since I've done anything shop/machine related.

So I'm going to try (between the weather) to get into the shop and see what's left of it, and the machines.

It looks like a hoarders been in there so I have to basically empty it out and start over. :670057077_CoveringEyes:

I just got told it's starting to rain :444410645_BlackCloud:so it looks like that will be put on hold again.:Tapping:

My great nephew is the kicker for Blackford. It’ll be a cold one. BHS is about 3 miles from my front door.

Not sure there will be much shop stuff going on here. I have a small end table i built and I'm waiting for the first coat of danish oil to dry before I top coat it with varnish, next up is a 2 drawer lateral file cabinet for my wife's stationary stuff. But this past week (and maybe this weekend) will be trying to get things in the yard/garage/barn ready for winter. I did get most of it done this past week...just have some odds and ends to take care of. I managed to fill a 12 yard dumpster with all kinds of crap that had been setting around, mostly yard stuff.

Well, it has been cool & raining here this morning - so I took the opportunity to walk y'all through an etched and painted mirror.  Check it out if you have any interest.

For the afternoon I am going to mess around inside.  I bought a wall mount for an upstairs TV and I want to get that up and see what I might find and where to mount the power and cable supply around it.

Saturday is tail gate party before the Georgia-Florida game.  I sure hope we play better than we did 2 weeks ago!

Sunday is supposed to be a nice day.  Been helping my nephew build a guitar case.  I hope we can finish it out Sunday afternoon.  Or at least get close.

So we both have something at stake here? Shes a Student Trainer/Manager...1/2 Seniors...sent her with some of my hand warmer packs to put in her gloves.  Miserable night for football; probably more so for North than Blackford. Her "boyfriend" is the full-back and one of the interior line-backers. I'll be watching it on the radio.:P I am glad to see Coach Sehy doing well. He's overcome a lot in the last few years. Good man.

Supposed to be a Haunched TENON....cut the wrong line

Well, sometimes stuff happens...my dad used to tell me frequently, "if you aren't making mistakes you're certainly not doing anything." Sometimes Monday comes early...sounds like you've recovered and back on track. I'd tell you to do a Dew, but I think those are off limits now so maybe it's time to walk in a circle three times, then lay down.

It was nasty, cold and rainy. We’ll have our hands full next week.  Brebuf only has 2 losses.
