My first batch years ago I used a cap with them and glued the two together. I can no longer find them and I am just going to do this batch this way. and glue them on

Turn it round and then turn as many wings of of it as I can get. I turn a dish in the end and then use a parting tool to cut a groove and leave a stub and turn the concave part of the wing as I am doing so. Mine ar small so I can't use a spindle sander so I use a scroll saw and a file for the wing notches. Rick Hutcheson's video was the inspiration. Click on "Free Woodturning Videos". About the 22nd video down the page. http://www.scrollsaws.com/ Edited September 24, 20187 yr by HandyDan
