Need Some Help Finding Velcro Sheets

Featured Replies

...sticky back Velcro sheets. Want to make my own pads.

The grip on all but one of my RO sanders has become less than optimum.:( I.e. they don't stick no more.

Been using stick on sheets but, the best ones found locally, are becoming scarce. Seems the Velcro ones are taking over.

At the rate the OEM Velcro loses it's grip, replacing them with OEM stuff gets very expensive.

It is. However, with Klingspore's flat rate shipping costs, that 24" sheet is over $30!

I think I'll keep searching.

Thanks again, Lew.

Did you really think, that, you are the only one who has traveled down this road?

Oh, ye of little faith...ask and you shall receive; information overload, snarky comments, 12 different directions to go in...:D:o

Never lost faith in TPWWs, Bill. They're a bunch of squared away troops.images.png.70c9ce6557a16a861f7c60e52bf97807.png

Just curious, where are you buying them now Gene?

Not buying the replacement pads. They are not cheap and mine don't last. Have just been ripping off the worn out Velcro and using stick on paper. Getting harder to find the stick ons locally. Really like the Ace brand discs. Figgered I'd just replace the Velcro.

Can't speak for you, but the urgency to keep up 2-3x night would make me VERY restless.;)

Sorry Gene, but my brain has apparently been out in the sun mowing too much lately:blink:

Are you looking to buy self-adhesive sanding discs to use vs H&L discs or self-adhesive H&L sheets/pads to replace on your ROS?

Now worries Dave. Welcome to my world. And lately, I can't blame the sun.:D

I'm wanting to just replace the worn out Velcro on the sanders. Not the whole pad.
